Here at Nafas Yoga, our Flow classes are Vinyasa-styled, where we mindfully link breath, movement and alignment, through creative sequences in a fun, light-hearted way. Whether you’re a complete beginner, or an advanced yogi - there is something for everyone!

Flow Strong

This class is not recommended for pregnant women.

Flow Slow

A slower-paced flow class, where poses are held a little longer, to allow the breath and body to move mindfully through a sequence. Flow Slow is every bit as challenging as Flow Strong – just in a different way! Suitable for all levels. It is highly recommended for beginner yogis to have attended at least a month of regular Flow 101 classes prior. This class is not recommended for pregnant women.

Flow 101

Specialised Class Offerings

Prenatal Yoga

(60 mins)

Nafas Yoga’s prenatal yoga class is uniquely designed for pregnant women to practise yoga. The combination of controlled breathing, mindful and safe stretching, and mental focus helps to increase strength, stamina and flexibility which are all much needed to sustain the pregnancy through to childbirth, as well as post-labour! Prenatal yoga is recommended for women who have passed the first trimester mark. We do however, advise you to seek your doctor’s consent prior to your first prenatal class with us.

Postnatal Yoga

(60 mins) - private sessions only

Giving birth can be a beautiful experience for mothers, but can also cause a lot of changes in your body. Our Postnatal Yoga class aims to help heal your body, mind and heart. In this class, expect to learn exercises to re-train your core through breathing exercises, as well as stabilising and strengthening yoga postures. Suitable for 6 weeks postpartum (vaginal birth), and 3 months postpartum (Caesarean birth). We do however, advise you to seek your doctor’s consent prior to your first postnatal class with us.

In this class, we will be doing Yoga and Pilates-inspired movements and exercises aimed to build strength and tone muscles. Not only will this newfound strength help complement your yoga practice, it will also help you be pain-free in your daily life. Expect to work with more reps to feel the burn! This class is for all levels, beginners, seasoned practitioners and postnatal mums are welcomed; however, not recommended for pregnant women :)

Tone & Sculpt

(60 mins)

A slow-paced yoga class where you can expect to hold a pose for 3 to 5 minutes. You will be guided with breathing techniques and usage of props to allow you to relax into the posture and soften the muscles. Highly recommended for yogis who seek to balance their yoga practice and for those seeking to release tight muscles. All levels are welcomed. This class is not recommended for pregnant women.

Yin Yoga

(60 mins)

Yin Yang Yoga

(60 mins)

Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one balanced practice. Yin Yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer and working on the connective tissues, whereas Yang Yoga refers to a more active practice working on the muscles, similar to Vinyasa flow. With the two elements combined into one class, you will get a balanced practice on the body and mind. This class is not recommended for pregnant women.

We also offer Private and Corporate classes here at Nafas Yoga.
